BIBLE SCHOOL PARENTING PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME

This is designed to introduce Parenting Education into Bible School Curriculum. This programme was founded to train prospective pastors and church leaders on parenting education and its role in changing the world from the home.

Bible School is a platform that produces ministers that ordain marriages and superintend over families on weekly basis. These religious roles have placed them in a strategic position to influence the home and society. This is so because the home is the smallest unit of the church and society.

A popular quote at CPI states that “If you want to change the world, you must start from the home. But how can you change the home without Parenting Education.” Parenting Education is the initiative that can help couples and the church adequately meet the tripartite need of a man and the only tool that will help predict, disciple and secure the next generation. To date, ministers still wed couples every week without any formal parenting education to nurture the product of the marriage institution — the child. This mistake has caused more harm than good in the church and society. This is what CPI intends to correct through this Bible School Parenting Programme.

THE AIM OF THE BIBLE SCHOOL PARENTING PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME

  1. Make Parenting Education an integral part of the Bible School activities.
  2. Train prospective pastors on the “Ministry of Parenting” and its role in changing the world from the home.
  3. Help pastors introduce Parenting Education in their church marriage programs and stop the trend of people getting into marriage without formal parenting education training.
