Christian Parenting International

OUR HISTORY

Our History

The burden for what we are doing in Christian Parenting International started around 2011. Prior to that time, I had a birth disorder I was struggling with, which I wanted to help every intending and married couple I came across prevent or correct in their children.

So, we started out with talking to parents in smaller groups both within and outside our religious circle. But we didn’t know that it was a call to serve the body of Christ and human family in that area.

In 2013, I came to Lagos and sat under the tutelage of one of my mentors, Nwaobia Ezechimere Jesse for 2years. His mentorship brought clarity and defined the burden that was in our hearts. The gap we were called to fill in the body of Christ and the human family became obvious. Soon after, we began an initiative called World Parenting Programme. This was to provide answers to the parenting challenges couples were struggling with in and outside our religious circle. However, within us, we just knew there was more to this. The push and burden was just overwhelming.

In 2018, we decided to go into a long fast. Eight months into the fasting, light came. This happened specifically on 5th August, 2021 around 02:32 am, we got instruction to start Christian Parenting International with a mission to pioneer the move of God to change the world from the home through Parenting. This was how Christian Parenting International was born and registered.

Although Christian Parenting International is pioneering a new move of God in the body of Christ through Parenting Education, we are a supportive ministry to help the fivefold ministry gifts in equipping the saints and edifying the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:28, Ephesians 4:11-12).

We exist as a supportive ministry to APOSTLES, PROPHETS, EVANGELISTS, PASTORS AND TEACHERS in equipping and raising a new tribe of parents that will raise their children with Christ-centered values and secure the next generation through PARENTING.
